Abstract
Considers Times Travel (UK) Ltd v Pakistan International Airlines Corp (Ch D) on whether the claimant travel agents could rescind new contracts with an airline on the ground that it had exerted illegitimate pressure on them to agree to its terms by reducing their allocated number of tickets and threatening to terminate their existing agency agreements. Assesses the extent to which the ruling has clarified the doctrine of "lawful act duress".
