Abstract

This thesis presents a machine learning infrastructure for risk modelling and privacy preserving data collaboration in insurance. The author has packaged emerging technologies into a platform (called the Actuari platform) to advance machine learning and collaboration in insurance. The author collaborated with the IFoA (Institute and Faculty of Actuaries) to help the insurance industry harness data and technology advances. As part of this research, the author has disseminated ML knowledge through webinars, meetings with industry practitioners, publications and knowledge sharing sessions.
