Abstract
面对来自北方敌人的威胁，欧亚帝国之间的防御策略有着惊人的一致性，如罗马帝国的哈德良长城和秦汉帝国的长城。本研究采用突起度分析的方法来探讨它们之间的选址策略的异同，以讨论帝国的军事战略。通过这种比较计算分析，本研究揭示了景观突起度与建筑驱动因素之间的联系。说明了帝国之间、帝国内部的长城皆存在功能上的差别，它们所遵循的地形原则也是不同的，这与帝国建造时所处的发展阶段和军事战略相关；还从地形计算的角度证明了了汉塞外列城作为军事道路的可能性。
