Abstract
Educational equity is one of the core propositions of today's basic education reform. Educational fairness and educational equality have different connotations. To truly realize educational fairness, we need to take different measures to match the differences between students. While emphasizing equal opportunities, Hong Kong also emphasizes the importance of taking care of students' learning differences, taking care of students' learning differences and educational equity in multiple dimensions such as school management, curriculum optimization, teacher promotion, teaching improvement and educational evaluation. Learning from and reflecting on the experience gained in Hong Kong is of great significance to promoting educational equity in the mainland.
