Abstract

In the tradition of radical pamphleteering, Urban Pamphleteer confronts key contemporary urban questions from diverse perspectives. The intention is to stimulate debate, and in the process empower and inform citizens, professionals, researchers, institutions, and policy-makers, with a view to positively shaping change. Issue #10 "Museums, Cities & Cultural Power" brings together practitioners, activities and academics to consider how museums can reflect, represent and be of value to a wide cross-section of society in cities. These conversations were instigated by the Museum of London's move to West Smithfield, and initially took place at a virtual symposium organised by UCL Urban Laboratory, Museum of London, and Brunel University London.
