Abstract

Psychologists' words carry weight and should not create confusion through pseudoscientific concepts, write 13 professors and psychologists who criticize the use of the concept of parental alienation. Violence against women and children is a widespread public health problem. In the first four months of the year alone, 12 women have been killed by a man close to them. Children are affected by the fact that in many cases they are still forced to have contact with the perpetrator, even though they do not want to and express fear.
