Abstract
This article presents six, or possibly seven, ‘forgotten finds’ of now-lost medieval and Tudor coin hoards found in Greater London in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, records of which are preserved in the form of contemporary newspaper reports. The hoards derive from five of London’s modern boroughs (Figure 1), including examples from both inner and outer London, and are arranged by probable date of deposition below.
