Abstract
The article discusses five of the most significant plays by Velimir Lukić, and argues that they should be viewed as dramas of ideas and interpreted in the philosophical context of Heidegger's understanding of nihilism. Following French structuralist drama theory, the author proposes a dramatic model applicable — with small variations — to all five plays: the actant Prince demands a sacrifice from the actant Victim, and the latter desires the void of death rather than a life in a world where the only values are those dictated by the will to power.
