Abstract

The article discusses how information literacy can be made relevant in workplace settings, challenges faced in transitioning skills and competencies from education to employment settings, and differences between the two settings that add to the challenges. Topics discussed include InformAll initiative to gather data to identify strategies to address information literacy and lifelong learning issues, and semantic gap between the views of education and workplace on information literacy.
