Abstract
The present report reviews the current status of development of CO2 pipeline transportation technology in the EU and China. In particular, this report summarises the main prerequisites for CO2 pipeline transportation in the context of Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS), including the regional opportunities for CCS. It also collects details about existing pipeline standards and past and present experience with pipeline transmission of CO2 worldwide, with special attention to the EU Nations and China.
